Ist die Finanztransaktionssteuer (FTS) eine gute Idee? Was meinen Sie dazu?
Seit Oktober 2009 fordert die Kampagne "Steuer gegen Armut" mit einem Offenen Brief an die Bundesregierung die Einführung einer Finanztransaktionssteuer zur Förderung von Entwicklung und Bekämpfung von Armut. Die eingängigste (und charmanteste) Erklärung des Anliegens zeigt der Spot mit Heike Makatsch und Jan Josef Liefers.
Zwischenerfolg der Kampagne: Finanzminister Schäuble erklärte am 21.5.2010, dass sich die Bundesregierung für eine Finanztransaktionssteuer einsetzen wird. Allerdings ist fraglich, wem das Geld zugute kommt und ob die Banken die Gebühren nicht auf die Produkte aufschlagen.

I think it's absorbing, because it brandish a very academic-focussed attitude.
